Tamsin Pearse

Tamsin’s love of walking the coastline near her home inspired her to create seascapes with the use of resin. The high gloss finish gives the paintings a real sense of depth and light, and the fluid nature of the resin means each piece is unique.
“For my coastal artwork, I love using real sand and pebbles along with shells and driftwood to give my paintings a natural, textured look for the shoreline. By mixing the resin with mica powders and acrylic inks, the sea shimmers and sparkles as it catches the light. I use a blow torch and heat gun to help create the beautiful lacing details of the waves.”
