This picture is part of the ‘Time and Tide’ series by photographer Heather Marlow Stephenson.
Heather chooses to print her photographs onto a composite hard board made of aluminium and plastic resin, making them water and fade resistant. This gives a contemporary finish which allows the photograph to take center stage without the distraction of a frame or glass; and achieves Heather’s aim of capturing the birds in flight without boundaries. (The prints are hung onto the wall using hooks which are secured onto the back of the print, and they can be displayed in a sheltered outdoor area, bathroom or kitchen.)
Four sizes are available.
All images have a matt finish.

About Heather Marlow Stephenson and the Time and Tide series
In this series, Time and Tide, each carefully composed image is the result of years of study and observation combined with an understanding of flight and the sky that comes from her previous career as a professional pilot.
Using the camera almost as a paint palette her images evoke feelings of calm, exuberance, fun and portray the skills innate in the birds inhabiting the Bay.
