Amanda is an oil painter, who studied Fine Art at Leicester University before attending Norfolk Painting School. Amanda creates light-drenched paintings filled with emotion. She carefully chooses colour to set the atmosphere and defined brush strokes to give a sense of movement in her paintings. Amanda is a people watcher and her nostalgic scenes of children playing aim to make the viewer feel they can relate to and recall such memories from their own childhood and family holidays. She currently works from her studio in Melton Mowbray.
