Bethany Tidmarsh

Originally from Cumbria, Beth loved art but ended up studying sciences and went on to work for the NHS, which she still does part-time! Beth typically uses a combination of pen, pencil and watercolours in her designs and often incorporates architectural motifs.

The ‘Shades of Home’ grid started as a personal project when Beth moved back to the Lakes to reflect her love of the area. However, this quickly transformed into a collaborative piece via social media and now contains 247 individual Lake District drawings of special places, walks, viewpoints and memories suggested by lots of other people!
