Gary McNamara

Gary is a talented and versatile artist who worked in the creative industries for 30 years including producing children’s books for Disney and working with the animation company DreamWorks. Now as an independent artist, his work focuses on the human experience in the format of portrait paintings or townscapes. His latest series takes inspiration from Northern Artists in particular honouring the work of L. S. Lowry and Margaret Chapman. Gary’s clever use of composition and colour creates paintings full of nostalgia and character.
