Janice McGloine

‘I am a self-taught artist and have been painting professionally since 1993. I set up my first studio in Oswaldtwistle Mills, Lancashire, specialising in pastel portraits to commission. In 2007, I fulfilled a long held dream and moved to live and work by the coast in Cumbria. I am greatly inspired by this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and my painting has changed considerably in the time I have been here. The coastline and woodlands are constantly changing providing lots of inspiration.’
