Jeff Sudders - Lake District Paintings

Jeff is a self-taught artist working mainly in oils. He has been painting for most of his life and has lived in the Lake District for over 40 years; an area where he finds much inspiration for his paintings.

His artwork is a unique interpretation of the local area and his landscapes capture the light and atmosphere of the lake district whilst incorporating the mood and feelings he desires.

Born 1944, in Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, Jeff is a keen fell walker who loves exploring and photographing the British countryside to gain inspiration for his paintings. Jeff is passionate, and dedicated to his painting.

He is constantly developing his style and exploring new compositions. In recent years Jeff has become an extremely popular and well-respected Lake District artist, with a growing number of collectors and Lake District fans purchasing his work. Many of his works are published as prints and both these and his original artwork can be found in homes and businesses all over the world. Jeff’s original paintings and prints are sold exclusively at the Cook House galleries and are on permanent display at each.
