‘Tim Brown is a Cumbrian artist with a background in architecture, bringing a unique perspective to his bold and atmospheric paintings. After running his own architectural practice for over thirty years, he retired in 2024 to fully dedicate himself to painting.

Tim works primarily with acrylics, often incorporating additional materials such as plaster, sand, and fabric to create rich textures. Using a limited yet dramatic palette, he crafts semi-surreal images that are not strict photographic representations but rather expressive interpretations of form and light.’
